Organic and Natural Skin Care
The owner and
staff at Wildflower are constantly researching and selecting the
best and most natural and organic skin care products
and treatments available for our clients. It is important to us
to help our clients achieve beautiful healthy skin nature's
way.
Organic
Spa Facial: $50 (approx 1 hour): Organic
& natural products are used for the entire session. Focusing on
relaxation and stress relief, this facial includes gentle cleansing
and exfoliation with aromatherapy steam, massage of the decollette (upper chest), neck, shoulders and
face. Finally, an gentle cleansing mask is applied. You will receive
a light massage of the hands and feet while the mask dries. To
complete the session, a soothing moisturizer is applied to the face,
neck, decollette, eye area and lips.
Note: Hair removal, extractions or
chemical peels cannot be added to this facial.
Organic
Spa Express Facial: $25 (approx 30 min): Organic
& natural products are used for the entire session. Focusing on
relaxation and stress relief, this facial includes gentle cleansing
and exfoliation with aromatherapy steam, massage of the decollette (upper chest), neck, shoulders and
face. Finally, an gentle, fast-acting, cleansing mask is applied. To
complete the session, a soothing moisturizer is applied to the face,
neck, decollette, eye area and lips.
Note: Hair removal, extractions or
chemical peels cannot be added to this
facial.
Custom Facial: $50 (approx 1 hour):
Organic
& natural products are used for this facial treatment which is
tailored to meet your needs. Your skin care professional will
consult with you about your skin conditions and concerns and choose
products accordingly. This facial begins with thorough cleansing and
exfoliation. Followed by a gentle massage of the decollette (upper chest), neck, shoulders and
face. A custom-selected mask is applied along with special eye and
lip treatments. During the mask processing you will receive a light
massage of the hands and feet. To complete the session, an
appropriate moisturizer for your skin condition is applied to the
face, neck, decollette, eyes and lips.
Note: Facial steaming ($10), hair removal (waxing: brows, lip, cheeks or chin $10 each area),
extractions (starts at $10), chemical peels ($price varies) can be added to this facial
service.
Back
Facial: $60 (approx 1 hour): Your
skin care professional will consult with you about your skin
conditions and concerns. Product will be applied much as
it is in a regular facial except it will be applied on the skin
on your back. Note: Steaming ($10), hair removal
(waxing $price varies), extractions (starts at $10) or chemical
peels ($price varies) can be added to this skin care
service.

Offered
Contrary to common notions in our society, massage
therapy is a healing art and not a sexual service. Any illicit or
sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in the immediate
termination of your session. Full payment is due immediately
regardless of time spent in session.

Swedish
Massage: (approx 30 min $25, 60 min $50, 90 min
$75)
This
traditional form of massage relaxes the body, improves muscle tone,
and stimulates circulation. Swedish massage is an essential part of
any stress management program. It is characterized by the
"long-gliding" strokes that are often used.
Swedish
massage is a very relaxing massage therapy which can help relieve
the stress of your every-day life. Choose 30 minutes if you want to
focus only on a specific area, 60 minutes for a full-body massage,
or 90 minutes for a full-body massage with emphasis and more time
spent on areas of your choosing.
Deep Tissue Massage: (approx 30 min $25, 60 min
$50, 90 min $75)
This
technique is designed to lengthen and broaden the muscle tissues and
also, to separate each muscle from the muscle group, and to lengthen
the fascial tissue. This therapy affects
the body on many levels. On a physical level it naturally releases
the lactic acid into the system, eventually eliminating sore
muscles.
Deep
Tissue Therapy is best used to treat specific problem areas in which
a client is experiencing pain. These types of problems can be caused
by over-use of a muscle group or may be the result of an accident or
other medical condition (such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fybromyalgia, arthritis, etc.).
Deep
Tissue Therapy is named so for two main reasons: 1) the deeper
muscles 2 to 3 layers below the surface muscles are contacted and
affected during this treatment and 2) a deeply meditative and
concentrated state of relaxation is sought by both the client and
therapist during a deep tissue therapy session.
Sports Massage Therapy: (approx 30 min $25,
60 min $50, 90 min $75)
This
type of massage incorporates movement with stretching to affect
change in the muscles. Often athletes recover faster and sustain
fewer injuries when they incorporate this type of massage into their
regular training and workout routines.
Sports
Massage is not just for professional athletes. It is also
appropriate for active people of all sorts: those who work out
regularly, participate in fun runs, enjoy walking, or take aerobics
and dance classes, etc.
You may
not think of the activities you enjoy as athletic. However, if you
are a weekend gardener or have been working on home improvement
projects, you may be using muscles in a way that makes them sore and
tired.
Sports
Massage incorporates long-gliding Swedish massage strokes,
deep-tissue therapy, trigger point therapy,
range of motion techniques, and assisted stretching. It is an ideal
way to recover from and prepare for a sporting event or any other
athletic activity.
Facial/Sinus/TMJ/Headache/Neck & Shoulder
Massage: (approx 30 min $25) Manual
lymph drainage massage provides a reduction in puffiness and
swelling. Can relieve symptoms of TMJ syndrome (temporal mandibular
joint syndrome is often the result of teeth grinding and/or
clenching teeth or excessive talking), headaches, allergies and
sinus pressure and pain. Relaxation and stress relief so deep it
feels equivalent to 3 nights of deeply restful sleep.

& Facials: (approx 30 min $20, 60 min $40, 90 min $60)
It's
been a long time but, I still remember what it was like to be a
college student, always having limited funds. So, I have sympathy
for your dilemma - stressed out, but with very little spending
money. Because of this, I offer massages at a discount price for
students only. You can choose one of these types of massage: Deep
Tissue, Face/Headache/TMJ/Sinus, Pregnancy, Sports, or Swedish
massage (sorry LaStone Therapy Massage and
Body Treatments are not included). ***NOTE: You may be
asked to show your college ID card and driver's license BEFORE your
massage session begins to receive the discounted rate.***
Pregnancy/Pre-Natal Massage: (approx 30
min $25, 60 min $50, 90 min $75) Many
people have the mistaken opinion that massage therapy should be
avoided altogether during pregnancy, when just the opposite can be
true for many women. After all, who needs pain and stress relief
more than an expectant mother? . . . your
aching back, sore swollen feet and hands, tight shoulders, the list
goes on.
There
are some areas that should be avoided during pregnancy massage of
which your therapist is aware and will discuss with you before your
session. Please confirm with your OB/GYN that it is acceptable to
him/her for you to have massage therapy during your pregnancy.
Massage therapy is not recommended if you are suffering from some
complications that are sometimes related to pregnancy (high blood
pressure, is one example).
During
the later months of pregnancy (even up to 9 months pregnant), this
massage can be performed with the aid of a PREGO-PILLOW. This is a
specially designed pillow which allows the mother-to-be to lie
comfortably on her stomach.
***If
your doctor has told you that you are having a high-risk
pregnancy, we ask that you please obtain your doctor's
approval stating that you are fit for receiving massage before
beginning a massage session.***
LaStone Therapy
Massage: (approx 60 min $80, 90 min $120)
LaStone Therapy is the original hot stone
massage developed by Mary Nelson of Tucson, AZ in 1993. LaStone is a true Geo-Thermo-Therapy which uses
both hot and cold stones. The body needs the alternating
temperatures to bring about a vascular gymnastic response in the
blood vessels. With this reaction the body begins the process of
internal healing. WE WILL NOT DO LASTONE MASSAGE ON PREGNANT
CLIENTS.
Spa Body Treatments
Softening Sugar Scrub Body Treatment: (approx 60 min
$50) Gentle
body exfoliation for people with dry or sensitive skin.
Triple-action fruit-derived Alpha-Hydroxy
Acids (AHAs) work with natural sugar crystals to reduce calluses
& banish dry, rough skin leaving it silky smooth &
rejuvenated. Your body is then wrapped in a warm spa blanket while
the sugar gently exfoliates and softens your skin. Followed by a
brief gentle massage with Organic lotion for
moisturizing.
Chocolate Decadence - Softening Scrub and Body
Treatment: (approx 60 min $50) A gentle
body exfoliation for people with dry or sensitive skin. Natural
cocoa and chocolate work with natural micro-fine sea salt crystals
to reduce calluses & banish dry, rough skin leaving it silky
smooth & rejuvenated. While the chocolate mineral buff gently
softens your skin, a Chocolate Fondue Masque that contains Wild Yam
and Cocoa will be applied. Your body is then wrapped in a warm spa
blanket while the sugar gently exfoliates and softens your skin.
Followed by a brief gentle massage with Organic Chocolate lotion for
moisturizing.
Invigorating Salt Glow: (approx 60 min
$50) An
invigorating body exfoliation for people with normal or oily skin. A
mixture of scented oils and Dead Sea Salts is applied to stimulate
circulation, soften dry elbows and heels, and leave the skin smooth
and glowing. Your body is then wrapped in a warm spa blanket while
the salt scrub softens your rough spots and exfoliates and softens
your skin. Followed by a brief gentle massage with Organic lotion
for moisturizing.
Indian Sunset Mud Body Wrap: (approx 60 min
$50) A truly
unforgettable spa experience from head to toe. Draws out impurities,
stimulates blood circulation & leaves your skin energized.
Moisturizes and renews the skin with ultra-hydrating Sedona Desert
Mud. Your body is then wrapped in a warm spa blanket while the
Sedona Desert Mud goes to work, drawing the dirt from your pores and
softening your skin. Followed by a brief gentle massage with Organic
lotion for moisturizing.
Ocean Potion Mud Body Wrap: (approx 60 min
$50) Rejuvenate
with a rich re-mineralizing body wrap treatment - improves
elasticity, tones, detoxifies and softens the skin for a difference
you can see and feel! Your body is then wrapped in a warm spa
blanket while the Deep Sea Mud goes to work, drawing the dirt from
your pores and softening your skin. Followed by a brief gentle
massage with Organic lotion for moisturizing.
Aromatherapy Steam Tent Treatment:
(approx 30 min $25) Enjoy an environmentally friendly system that is useful
for anyone looking for the health benefits associated with a steam
sauna. Some of these benefits include relief from joint pain and
muscle soreness, improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and
relief from allergies and asthma. Aside from the health benefits it
also serves as a beauty aid with benefits such as weight loss due to
detoxification, beautiful skin, and cellulite reduction. You
can lie
comfortably on a soft massage table and have complete privacy under
the steam canopy. It only uses a few pints of water unlike other
steam systems that waste gallons of water. In this way our
eco-friendly system conserves the amount of water used, and also
requires very little
electricity.
